H0P Electric is starting the next leg of its national test drives of its Oxo electric bike with deliveries commencing from December.
Ketan Mehta, Co-Founder and CEO, Hop Electric, highlighted that his company is awaiting approvals as per the recently announced guidelines. The first batch of 2500+ vehicles is production ready, but due to changes in the guidelines of the Ministry of Heavy Industries’ FAME II and the introduction of new tests and standards, deliveries to the customers are yet to begin.
Meanwhile if any customer wants to buy Hop Oxo today the company will ship without incentives as it has already completed State certification across 15 States where it is present.
Starting from Delhi, Jaipur, and Pune, the electric bike will be available at more than 50 locations at HOP dealerships for test rides. The bike features a 3.75 kWh battery pack returning a range of 150 km per charge.
The duration of the battery warranty is the only difference between the two variants of the HOP Oxo electric motorcycle.
