Jaguar Land Rover India on Monday announced the commencement of delivers deliveries of the Range Rover Sport. The third generation of the SUV was unveiled globally in May, with the launch in India also taking place around the same time.

Rohit Suri, President and Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India, said, “The New Range Rover Sport builds on seventeen years of unparalleled sporting luxury by offering newer levels of sophistication and refinement to our highly discerning clients.”

Underpinning the MLA-Flex platform, the Range Rover Sport gets an option for a 3.0 L diesel engine, delivering power of 258 kW and torque of 700 Nm and a 3.0 L petrol engine, delivering power of 294 kW and torque of 550 Nm and is available across Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE and Autobiography specifications.

In terms of off-road capabilities, the SUV packs in the Electrical Vehicle Architecture (EVA 2.0) that supports an ecosystem of seamlessly connected technologies, including Software Over The Air (SOTA), and provides remote updates for 63 electronic modules.

Meanwhile, on the inside, it gets a floating 33.27 cm (13.1) haptic Pivi Pro infotainment system, controlling functions from navigation to media and vehicle settings. In addition, it also gets a digital driver display and Amazon Alexa integration, along with two more 11.4-inch screens in the rear with the rear seat entertainment package.
