JLR Updates Discovery Sport With Terrain Response 2 System

Jaguar Land Rover India has announced the commencement of deliveries for the 2023 model year Discovery Sport in India, which has been priced at INR 71.39 lakh, ex-showroom, India.

Available in the R-Dynamic SE model with a 5+2 seat configuration, the SUV gets powered by a 2 litre turbocharged petrol engine, producing 184 kW and 365 Nm of torque or a 2 litre turbocharged diesel producing 150 kW and 430 Nm of torque.

Built on the company’s Premium Transverse Architecture, the updated vehicle gets the Terrain Response 2 system which monitors the driving conditions and automatically selects the suitable driving mode. The company claims the vehicle can wade through 600 mm of water.

Additionally, it also gets the Pivi Pro2 entertainment system including a 10-inch touchscreen with new interface, along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Moreover, the cabin also features a Meridian Sound System with 12 speakers, a dual-channel subwoofer and 400 W amplified power and PM 2.5 cabin filter.

On the safety side, it features Hill Descent Control, All Terrain Progress Control and Clearsight Ground View, 3D Surround Camera and the ClearSight Ground View that allows the driver to see through the bonnet and display multiple exterior views, including the vehicle’s underside and wheels.
