Kalyan C Korimerla Joins Etrio As Managing Director & Co-Promoter

The Hyderabad based electric vehicle manufacturing startup Etrio Automobiles has appointed Kalyan C Korimerla as the Managing Director and Co-Promoter of the company. Alongside he will also be a part of the company’s promoters group and its Board of Directors.

Under his management, the company intends to evolve from a startup to a mature and robust organisation that offers comprehensive products and solutions that suit its clients’ operational and sustainability needs.

With a professional experience of over two and a half decades, Korimerla has spent the last decade in the renewable energy industry in India as the Chief Executive Officer of NSL Renewable Power and as Founder & Managing Director of OneEarth Power Ventures, where he managed and developed renewable energy portfolios of 510 MW and 133 MW respectively.

In addition, he was also elected as the Vice President of Wind Independent Power Producers Association (WIPPA), an association that represents the largest wind energy companies in India.

On joining Etrio Automobiles, Korimerla said, “Building on the current product portfolio that consists of industry-first Electric Light Commercial Vehicle (eLCV) and a proven electric three-wheeler platform, order pipeline, and strong team, I am confident that we will lead Etrio to newer and more exciting heights of growth and success while bringing operational discipline, innovation, resilience and customer orientation to the company.”

Welcoming Kalyan, Satya Yalamanchali, Founder and Promoter, Etrio, said that his zeal and passion in working towards zero-emission and climate-friendly solutions align well with the company’s long-term vision. “We feel his experiences of working with international investors and policymakers can also prove to be a great asset in further growing and scaling Etrio in the years to come,” Yalamanchali added.
