Lumax-DK Jain Group has appointed Raju B Ketkale as Executive Director - Manufacturing and Corporate Planning. Ketkale will be based out of the corporate headquarters in Gurugram and will closely work with the leadership team.
Ketkale has over three decades of experience, having held various strategic positions at Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKML). His last position was Executive Vice President - Manufacturing and Board Member at TKML. He has successfully led large structural reforms in manufacturing, technical function, and people development to achieve cost competitiveness and manufacturing excellence, establishing a leadership pipeline ready to face the challenges of new technology, electrification, carbon neutrality, and digitisation. He was also working very closely with Suzuki, Japan and Maruti Suzuki India as the project leader for the Toyota-Suzuki alliance and successfully launched the first hybrid vehicle project for India and export markets.
On TKML's behalf, he received the Energy Compact award for achieving RE100 in May 2022 from MNRE, Government of India. He promoted sustainable operations in TKML and across the value chain in his earlier role, achieving plant zero CO2 (RE 100) in 2021. It is the No.1 plant recognised by Toyota globally, and it has successfully established a biodiversity eco-park on a construction dump. For this initiative, he also received the ‘MOEF & CII ITC Excellence’ award for Biodiversity Park on behalf of TKML in March 2023.
