Odysse Electric Vehicles has launched its new electric motorbike Vader at INR 109,999 (ex-showroom Ahmedabad). Powered by a 7-inch android display and controlled by an App and Bluetooth connectivity, the bike offers a range of 125 km in Eco mode.
According to the company, the app comes with connectivity features such as a bike locator, geo fence, immobilisation, anti-theft, track & trace, and low battery alert, among many other utilities. Powered by a 3kW electric motor delivering a top speed of 85 kmph, the vehicle features a combi braking system, 240mm disc brake at the front and 220mm disc brake at the rear. For ease of charging, the company has included an IP67 AIS 156-approved Lithium-ion battery that can be fully charged in four hours.
Nemin Vora, CEO, Odysse Electric Vehicles, “We have an exciting new product line-up planned for 2023, along with the FAME-II-approved high-speed motorbike Vader. We plan to launch an electric scooter in the third quarter of 2023. We also intend to increase our dealership network to over 150 by the end of the year, and we anticipate that this initiative will increase our sales by at least 300%.”
The electric bike comes with three years warranty on the battery and three years warranty on Powertrain. The bike will be available for booking online and at the company’s 68 dealerships at a booking amount of INR 999, and deliveries will commence in July this year.
