In a significant move to enhance eco-friendly transportation, Tata Motors, India's leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, has unveiled the Ace EV 1000, a new electric mini-truck designed to revolutionize last-mile delivery solutions. With a robust payload capacity of 1 tonne and a remarkable range of 161 kilometers per charge, the Ace EV 1000 promises to be a game-changer in the sector.
Developed after extensive customer feedback, this zero-emission vehicle is tailored for diverse industries including FMCG, beverages, paints, lubricants, LPG, and dairy. It aims to meet the evolving demands of these sectors with improved operational economics and sustainability.
The Ace EV 1000 is equipped with the EVOGEN powertrain, ensuring an unmatched driving experience backed by a 7-year battery warranty and a 5-year comprehensive maintenance package. It includes an advanced battery cooling system and a regenerative braking system to enhance the driving range. Additionally, the vehicle supports both regular and fast charging options, enhancing uptime for businesses.
With its 27kW (36hp) motor and 130Nm of peak torque, the Ace EV 1000 provides best-in-class pickup and gradeability, easily handling fully loaded conditions. It will be available at all Tata Motors commercial vehicle dealerships across India, featuring versatile cargo decks to suit different business needs.
The Ace EV 1000 is supported by an expansive network of over 150 Electric Vehicle Support Centres nationwide. It features an advanced battery management system and Fleet Edge telematics for optimal performance and uptime.
