Toyota Innova Crysta Gets New Top Variants

The new Innova Crysta VX trim starts at INR 23.79 lakh, ex-showroom for the fleet version, while the ZX trim level has been priced at INR 25.43 lakh.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the VX and ZX trim levels of the Innova Crysta starting at INR 23.79 lakh, ex-showroom, India. Launched as a refreshed model in January 2023, the facelift version of the MPV gets powered by a 2.4L diesel engine with a five-speed manual transmission with eco and power drive modes.

The top of the line ZX (7S) variant has been priced at INR 25.43 lakh, while the VX (8S) and VX (7S) variants have been priced at INR 23.84 lakh and INR 23.79 lakh respectively. Two variants have been specifically launched for the fleet segment – the VX FLT (8S) is available for INR 23.84 lakh, while the VX FLT (7S) is being offered for INR 23.79 lakh.

The MPV gets Smart Playcast 8-inch touchscreen audio with Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay along with rear auto AC with digital display, eight way power adjust driver seat, smart entry system, seat back table, TFT MID with detailed drive information, leather seat colour options (black & camel tan), ambient illumination and one touch tumble second row seats.

The two new trim levels also get seven SRS airbags, front and rear parking sensors, vehicle stability control and hill-start assist control, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). 

Atul Sood, Vice President, Sales and Strategic Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said the New Innova Crysta is sure to carry forward the legacy of the renowned Innova. The MPV has been a leader in its segment since its introduction in India in 2005, having sold over one million units till date. 

In April 2023, the company registered sales of 14,162 domestic units as against 15,086 units it had sold in April 2022, representing a drop of 6.12% YoY. The company clarified that the drop in sales was due to the week-long maintenance shutdown from April 24-28, 2023 for the upkeep of machinery and equipment to sustain operational efficiencies, productivity and safety.
