Customers have an option to choose between three warranty packs

Ultraviolette Automotive has announced a new set of warranty packages for its electric motorcycle, the F77. Owners can choose between three warranty packs- UV Care, UV Care + and UV Care Max.

Under the UV Care and UV Care +, owners of the F77 can get a warranty coverage of 60,000km and 1 lakh kilometers respectively. With the UV Care Max, however, the warranty coverage is a whopping 8 lakh km or eight years, which is eight times more than the previous warranty figure. It is still not clear whether this new warranty program can also be purchased by the current F77 customers. Interestingly, Ultraviolette hasn’t shared the pricing of these warranty packs.

All said, these warranty packs will help alleviate some of the concerns that owners and prospective customers have with regards to electric vehicle ownership.

Ultraviolette also shared other details about their battery pack. As per their data, the battery in the F77 retained 95 per cent of the original rated capacity even after crossing one lakh kilometers. This indicates low battery degradation even after a long period of usage. This, again, boosts customer confidence in electric vehicles.
