Ultraviolette Automotive will commercially launch the F77 electric motorcycle on 24 November 2022. This urban sports bike has been designed and engineered in India and will have a phase-wise roll-out plan across the country, starting with Bengaluru, followed by other cities.

The TVS Motors-backed start-up is subsequently looking at the F77 being launched across the US and Europe, noted Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder of Ultraviolette Automotive. The company has garnered 70,000 pre-launch booking interests from 190 countries. The F77 will come in three variants - Airstrike, Shadow, and Laser.

The company recently commenced production trials of the F77 at its manufacturing facility in Electronic City, Bangalore. This electric motorcycle is packed with hardware and software features such as dual-channel ABS, adjustable suspensions, multiple drive modes, and regenerative braking. Over the past year, it has tested the F77 to the limit under various terrains and weather conditions across the country.

“We are looking to deliver 10,000 to 12,000 F77s in the next year. Our capability to manufacture is much more than that but we will take a steady approach as we want to explore advancements on the manufacturing front,” Subramaniam had told Mobility Outlook recently.
