India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has introduced Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid in an all-new Silver Colour. The OEM will be offering the new colour in the Drum brake variant priced INR 78,098 Ex-showroom, Chennai.
The new colour scheme has been added to the existing lineup kept under the OEM's “The Call of the Blue” direction, noted an official statement by the company. 'IYM has introduced this colour scheme after gathering feedback from customers who wanted a colour option that is easier to maintain,' read the statement.
The Fascino 125 Fi is powered by an air-cooled, fuel-injected 125cc blue core engine that produces a power output of 8.2 PS at 6,500 RPM and maximum torque of 10.3 Nm at 5,000 RPM. It features Smart Motor Generator (SMG) System with added functionality that newly adopts the hybrid system. The SMG also serves as a motor by reversing the direction of electricity release, providing benefits that include a quiet engine start system and automatic stop & start system.
The Fascino 125 Fi also comes equipped with a side stand engine cut-off switch feature, which is standard and mandatory across all Yamaha two-wheelers in India.
