Yamaha Motor India (YMI) has launched the 2023 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition of the AEROX 155 maxi-sports scooter in India for INR 1,48,300 (ex-showroom Delhi). The launch of this special edition is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its presence in the growing maxi-scooter segment in India, targeting young and aspirational customers.

In addition to the Yamaha MotoGP livery on the overall body, the vehicle also gets a number of other features, Traction Control System (TCS), an E20 fuel-compliant engine, and a hazard system as a standard feature. The AEROX 155 is a popular choice among young riders in India due to its powerful engine, sporty design, and advanced features. The special MotoGP Edition model is expected to boost further the popularity of the AEROX 155 among young riders. The liquid-cooled 4-valve engine produces 14.8 bhp at 8,000rpm with 13.9 Nm of peak torque produced at 6,500rpm.

The launch of the new model is also a positive development for Yamaha Motor India. It will help the company to strengthen its position in the maxi-scooter segment and increase its market share.
