Ashok Leyland has appointed Sanjay V Jorapur as President & Head of HR while Amanpreet Singh, currently President & Head HR will move on to a senior role at Hinduja Group in Mumbai.
In his new role Jorapur will drive the people agenda in line with contemporary global practices and steer the company’s human resources strategy in the current transformational context.
Joining Ashok Leyland from HFCL Group where he was President of Group HR, Jorapur is a HR veteran, with leadership level experience in Technology, Engineering and Automation domains.
Dheeraj G Hinduja, Executive Chairman, Ashok Leyland, noted that Jorapur brings in close to three decades of experience in the company.
“‘People’ are the foundational pillars for us to achieve our Vision,” he added.
