The new-age mobility start-up, Automovill, on Tuesday launched the accidental claims app ‘Automovill Direct Sales Agent’ for all insurance agents and brokers across India. Currently available for android devices, the app will be launched for iOS users by June this year.
According to a press release from the company, the application would assist the brand in developing an interface with one lakh agents on board across 20,000 locations in India.
It will serve as a complete motor insurance platform, connecting agents, car owners, and the brand to assist any motor claim while also delivering transparency in claims, products, cost, and services, the release added.
In addition, the app will be developed in-house into an advanced AI system to aid in the insurance claim estimation method. The technology will be used to detect car damage such as dents and to generate insurance claim estimates. It will also handle the subsequent procedure of providing the estimate and obtaining approvals from the insurers, reducing any inaccuracies, the company added.
