CASE Production Of 20,000th Vibratory Compactor mobility outlook

CASE Construction Equipment, a prominent brand under CNH Industrial, has celebrated a significant milestone in its Indian operations by producing the 20,000th vibratory compactor at its Pithampur facility. This achievement underscores the facility's role as a global manufacturing hub for CASE’s compactors and sets the stage for an ambitious expansion in production capacity.

Located near Indore, the Pithampur facility, established in 1989, has evolved into the sole manufacturing centre for CASE’s vibratory compactors worldwide. As CASE aims to increase its production capacity to 10,000 units annually across all products by next year, the facility is set to become the second-largest manufacturing site for CNH globally and a pivotal export hub for the brand.

Export Excellence & Diverse Offerings

Currently, the Pithampur site exports compactors to 44 countries and serves the construction equipment needs of over 105 countries across Africa, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Latin America, in addition to its substantial footprint in India. The facility manufactures a comprehensive range of construction machinery, including loader backhoes and crawler excavators, alongside its flagship compactors.

Reflecting on this milestone, Shalabh Chaturvedi, Managing Director of CASE Construction Equipment - India & SAARC region, expressed his pride in the achievement. 'Rolling out the 20,000th made-in-Bharat compactor is not just a testament to our leadership in the vibratory compactor segment but also to the trust and reliability that our customers place in our products both in India and overseas,' he stated. 'This accomplishment underscores our commitment to contributing to Viksit Bharat and enhancing our operations in India.'

Innovative Production & Future Prospects

The Pithampur facility is renowned for its innovative approach to manufacturing, employing a multi-model assembly process that ensures efficiency and quality. Satendra Tiwari, Operations Director at CNH, highlighted the facility’s unique capabilities. 'Our success is a testament to our team's hard work and our strategic assembly processes. With continuous investments in technology and upgrades, we maintain our leadership position and meet the ever-evolving demands of the global construction industry,' he remarked.

CASE compactors are celebrated for their ease of operation, maintenance, safety features, and efficient compaction parameters.

Expanding Product Range and Inclusion Initiatives

Further expanding its product offerings, CASE recently introduced Skid Steer Loaders manufactured by an all-women production line, emphasising diversity and inclusion within its operations. This initiative not only promotes gender equality but also enhances the skill sets and opportunities available to women in the manufacturing sector.
