Bhavish Aggarwal led Ola Electric has launched Ola S1 Air electric scooter in India. Launched at an introductory price of INR 79,999, it is the cheapest electric scooter launched by the start-up so far.
Offering a range of 101 km on a fully charged battery, this new scooter can reach a top speed of 85 km/h and accelerate from zero to 40 km/h in 4.3 seconds. The scooter can generate a peak power of 4.5 kW, and can be driven in eco, normal, and sports modes. It takes 270 minutes to recharge.
The scooter comes with a 34-litre boot space and dual-tone body colour; it is offered in Blue, White, Black, Orange, and Dark Grey colours. The flat board design e2W weighs around 99 kg and comes equipped with a front telescopic fork and rear twin suspension.
The OEM has also equipped the S1 Air with a 10W speaker, moods and sounds features, a 17.78 cm touchscreen, GPS, and WiFi connectivity.
Ola Electric offers roadside assistance, insurance, and an extended warranty. The start-up has also partnered with several banks to offer financing schemes.
