BharatBenz Network With Regional Training Centres mobility outlook

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) is elevating the skill set and proficiency of its technical personnel within the BharatBenz sales and service network. As part of this initiative, DICV, in partnership with its dealer associates Dhingra Trucking and Autobahn Trucking, inaugurated two new BharatBenz Regional Training Centres (RTC) in Dharuhera (Haryana) and Pune (Maharashtra).

The new RTCs complement the existing centres in Chennai and Odisha, strategically positioned closer to authorised dealerships and service centres. Sreeram Venkateswaran, President & Chief Business Officer, Domestic Sales & Customer Service, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, emphasised the continuous pursuit of excellence in training, with around 15,000 BharatBenz technicians, sales staff, and drivers trained over the past four years.

The Dharuhera RTC, in collaboration with Dhingra Trucking, spans 6,600 sq ft, while the Autobahn Trucking-backed centre in Pune covers 7,800 sq ft. Both facilities can accommodate 60 trainees simultaneously and are equipped with dedicated trainers, 500+ tools, and two BS6 vehicles with 10 truck and bus aggregates, ensuring comprehensive technical training.

DICV conducted the BharatBenz National Skills Contest mobility outlook

In addition to the training centres, DICV conducted the BharatBenz National Skills Contest 2023, a real-time evaluation of the excellence of sales and service personnel. The contest witnessed an impressive 99% participation rate from 3400+ participants, including 750+ sales executives and 2650+ service executives, setting new benchmarks in the industry.

The National Skills Contest aligns with DICV’s initiatives like 'BharatBenz Rakshana,' focusing on quick service to ensure BharatBenz trucks are swiftly back on the road, positively impacting customers’ business growth and profitability.

Sreeram Venkateswaran highlighted the significance of refining skills through the contest, complementing DICV’s digitalisation initiatives like the Simulated Driver Trainer (SDT) and e-learning modules aimed at modernising truck and bus driving techniques in India while prioritising safety and efficiency.

BharatBenz’s commitment to customer service is evident through initiatives like 'Rakshana,' an uptime assurance program ensuring service and repair completion within 48 hours, 'BharatBenz Exchange,' facilitating the exchange of used trucks for new ones, and 'BharatBenz Certified,' refurbishing and retailing pre-owned BharatBenz trucks. With a network of over 330 outlets across India, BharatBenz continues to provide exceptional service, ensuring accessibility and assistance within 2 hours along key national highways.
