Exicom Completes Installation Of 5,000 EV Chargers In India

The EV infrastructure provider, Exicom, on Wednesday announced that it has completed the installation of 5,000 charging stations, including 3,600 AC and 1,400 DC chargers, in four years.

According to the press release from the company, the 5,000th charger was a 200KW charger for Tata Power at a DTC depot in Delhi.

These chargers are spread across 200 cities in 20 states, with a majority of installations at bus depots, fleet operators, public charging stations, residential communities and households, the company said.

The company plans to move its production from Gurgaon, Haryana, to a new facility by FY23 to multiply its manufacturing capacity by 3X.

Furthermore, it has also started supplying EV chargers in Southeast Asia, providing DC fast Charging Equipment for Malaysia’s first multi-fuel filling station in the Sarawak region.
