Oye! Rickshaw Predicts Five-fold Growth As It Expands Across 25 Cities

E-mobility startup Oye! Rickshaw has announced that with the recent expansion plans across 25 cities by 2022, the brand aims to achieve 15-20 million deliveries with prominent e-commerce players. In 2021, it completed over 3.5 million deliveries, the company claimed.

Fulfilling about 40-45% of daily deliveries across its client set, the startup has partnered with the likes of Bigbasket Daily, Udaan, Flipkart, Dealshare, Jiomart & Blinkit (erstwhile grofers), to name a few, for its delivery business, a release from the company stated.

The revenue generated from these partners amounts to 30-40% of the company’s total delivery business, the release added.

Mohit Sharma, Co-founder and CEO, Oye! Rickshaw, said, “As we continue to work towards strengthening this vertical of our business and provide our customers and partners with convenience for greater good, we are also mindful of the impact that it will create on the environment owing to our operations; we are taking the important steps to make our journey more sustainable.”
