Harley-Davidson will launch its X440 roadster motorcycle in India on July 4, 2023. The BikeWale website estimates that the pricing of the motorcycle will be between INR 2.5 lakh to INR 3.0 lakh price tag.
On arrival, this motorcycle, co-developed with Hero MotoCorp, will rival the likes of Royal Enfield 350s and Honda Highness. Currently, Royal Enfield is the above 350cc-segment winner in India.
Donning classic roadster styling, the Harley Davidson X440 seems to have borrowed elements from XR1200.

These include a round headlight with integrated branding, retro-style round indicators, a single-pod instrument cluster, a flat handlebar, a side-slung exhaust, and machined alloy wheels.
The motorcycle will probably feature a 440 cc engine that might redline at 8,000 rpm. Also, a feature could be Bluetooth connectivity. Notably, in September 2020, Harley Davidson announced discontinuing its sales and manufacturing operations in the country due to weak demand and sales. Subsequently, Hero MotoCorp was put in charge of selling Harley Bikes.
