Hero MotoCorp has launched a new variant of its Pleasure Plus scooter. Called the Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec Sports, and priced at Rs 79,738, this is essentially a “sportier” version of the standard scooter. Except, the differences are purely cosmetic.

The Pleasure Plus Xtec Sports gets an Abrax Orange Blue colour scheme which consists of a blue shade as the base and contrasting orange and grey stripes on the front mudguard, apron and the side panels. There's more orange on the rims in the form of stripes, to add a little more contrast to the scooter’s appearance.

Mechanically and features wise, this scooter is identical to the Hero Pleasure Plus connected version.

The scooter is powered by a 110.9cc engine that produces 8bhp and 8.7Nm, and is paired with a CVT. As for the hardware, it has an underbone chassis that’s suspended by a telescopic fork and monoshock. Braking duties are taken care of by drum brakes at either end.

The Pleasure Plus Xtec Sports goes up against the TVS Jupiter and the Honda Activa 6G.
