Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand Vida has set up a unique installation at Cyber Hub in Gurugram. The installation showcases actual parts and prototypes that were tested at the vehicle maker's R&D centre in Jaipur.

“Built to last, 1,006 prototypes were tested across 200,000 kms and spent 25,000 hours to arrive at the final one,” a press release from the OEM noted.

The OEM is also finalising a collaboration agreement with California (USA)-based manufacturer Zero Motorcycles to focus on co-developing electric motorcycles.

The company’s board also approved an equity investment of up to $60 million in Zero Motorcycles. Zero Motorcycles manufactures electric motorcycles and powertrains. 

Hero MotoCorp will be launching its first electric two-wheeler on October 7, 2022 in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
