Honda Showcases Technological Excellence At Bharat Mobility Expo mobility outlook

Honda demonstrates its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and cutting-edge technology at inaugural Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. The event serves as a platform for Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), Honda Power Pack Energy India (HEID), Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL), and HIPP (Honda India Power Products) to unveil their latest technological advancements.

Honda is using this platform to showcase its unwavering commitment to sustainability and road safety, aligning with its global vision to achieve zero traffic collision fatalities involving Honda motorcycles and automobiles by 2050.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI): Flex-Fuel Motorcycle

At the heart of Honda's showcase is HMSI's first flex-fuel powered motorcycle designed specifically for the Indian market. The flex-fuel powered motorcycle, powered by a 293.52cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, is compliant with up to E85 fuel (85% ethanol & 15% gasoline). Using innovative 'Flex Tech' Technology, this motorcycle represents Honda's dedication to eco-friendly and sustainable mobility solutions.

With over a decade of expertise in flex-fuel technology globally and more than 7 million satisfied customers in Brazil, HMSI is well-equipped to seamlessly transition the Indian two-wheeler market toward flex-fuel technology.

Honda Power Pack Energy India (HEID)

HEID is actively participating in the expo, showcasing its new-age technology, including Honda Power Pack Exchanger e: and Honda Mobile Power Pack e:. One of the highlights is the Honda e:Swap, an innovative battery-sharing technology for electric two and three-wheelers, addressing challenges such as limited range, long charging times, and high battery costs. The service aims to accelerate the penetration of electric vehicles in India by offering efficient and convenient battery swaps.

In addition to the battery-sharing service, HEID plans to collaborate with OEMs interested in integrating Honda's advanced battery technology into their vehicles. This initiative aims to play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable transportation solutions.

Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL)

HCIL is featuring the Honda City e:HEV and the recently launched SUV, Honda Elevate. The City e:HEV boasts a revolutionary self-charging, highly efficient two-motor strong hybrid system, emphasising Honda's commitment to bringing cutting-edge technologies to India. Both showcased models come equipped with Honda's advanced safety technology, 'Honda Sensing,' including features like Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and Auto High-Beam.

HIPP (Honda India Power Products)

HIPP is showcasing its Li-ion Battery-powered Lawn and Garden range, including a Robotic lawnmower, Handheld Grass trimmer, Hedge trimmer, and Blower, offering efficient and eco-friendly turf care. Additionally, HIPP is presenting its bio-fuel compatible advanced Fuel Injection (FI) equipped portable inverter generator models and an eco-friendly 4 Stroke Honda Marine model for sustainable and efficient use in Indian waterways.
