The Hyundai i20 got a major facelift towards the second half of last year and now its performance sibling the i20 N Line has followed in its footsteps. The changes are minor yet do enough to give the car a major update since its official launch in 2021.
On the outside, the updated N Line gets a new grille, a new design for the alloy wheels, new side skirts and three new paint schemes. Inside, the layout and elements remain mostly the same but there is now a customisable digital cluster, a bigger display for the infotainment system and aluminium pedals.

Motivation comes from the 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 118bhp/172Nm and up until recently could only be had with a seven-speed DSG but now also gets a six-speed manual. The India-spec car had been launched with the same feature updates as the standard car and now we have a full picture of what will come in terms of exterior and interior updates for the car.

Given that the updated i20 was launched in September of 2023, we can expect that this one will be a mid-year upgrade for the hatchback. It will take on the upcoming Tata Altroz Racer which is also expected to be a mid-year launch from the Indian automaker.
