Customers who book by 31st March 2024 are entitled for additional benefits including a 7kW home charger and installation service, a 3kW portable charging box, a VTOL mobile power supply unit, six years of roadside assistance, and the first service free of charge.

With rear-wheel/all-wheel drive, advanced suspensions, and a 3.8-second 0-100 km/h acceleration, it offers a 650-km range. The car's aerodynamics and interior space are enhanced by CTB (Cell-to-Body) technology, integrating the Blade Battery seamlessly into the sedan’s body, forming a strong ‘sandwich’ structure that can achieve torsional rigidity of 40500N.m. In terms of safety, the car comes equipped with ADAS Level 2, NFC card integration, and nine airbags.

This design not only maximises interior space and enhances aerodynamics but also significantly enhances safety, stability, handling, and performance. Besides, the car is equipped with a high-efficiency heat pump system for efficient battery temperature regulation and low energy consumption. It also supports VTOL technology, allowing it to be used as a portable power supply for electrical devices with a total output of up to 3,000W.

Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Electric Passenger Vehicle Business of BYD India said, 'The BYD SEAL is a distinguished example of our dedication to providing a wide range of green mobility solutions for Indian consumers, and we are confident that it will play a significant role in accelerating the new energy vehicle revolution in India. With BYD being a global champion in the EPV segment and the positive response from Indian audiences reaffirms our commitment in expanding our dealerships across India, ensuring that more consumers can experience the unparalleled driving experience offered by BYD SEAL.”
