Hyundai Motor India on Tuesday unveiled the i20 N Line, the first model to debut under Hyundai’s N Line range of cars in India.
Deriving inspiration from motorsports styling, the new car fuses style with a dynamic driving experience. Customers can now book the car on the Hyundai website or at Hyundai Signature Dealerships across the country for INR 25 000, the company said in a media release.
The new i20 is powered by a 1.0L Turbo GDI engine with a choice of iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) and 7DCT transmission options. In addition, it has 58 connected features, new VR Commands and 16 free OTA (Over-the-Air) Map Updates.
The engine is tuned to produce 88.3 kW (120 PS) / 6,000 rpm of maximum power and 172 Nm (17.5 kgm) / 1,500 - 4,000 rpm of maximum torque. With this configuration, i20 N Line can achieve a zero to 100 Kmph acceleration in 9.9 seconds (based on internal testing). While easily achieving a sporty and exhilarating drive, the car achieves a mileage of 20 kmpl, the company said.
The new car is introducing Personal Mobility Advisor at select workshops to provide a personalised and hassle-free service experience, the release added.

Hyundai said that for the Indian market, i20 N Line is based on the four key pillars of Energising Exteriors, Engaging Interiors, Enthusiastic Performance and Enticing Technology.
Hyundai i20 N Line will offer customers a host of safety features, including six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system (with individual tyre pressure indicator), driver rearview monitor, automatic headlamps, emergency stop signal, and puddle lamps with welcome function, the release said.
Equipped with smart and innovative technology, the new car will get a Welcome Greeting function that lends a warm feeling every time one steps inside the cabin. The sporty and cool experience is further accentuated with Bose Premium 7-speaker system that ensures an unrivalled acoustic indulgence, the release added.
The new car will also offer customers a world of convenience with features including a wireless charger with a cooling pad, Smart entry with push-button start/stop, Smartphone connectivity - Apple Carplay & Android Auto Cruise Control, Rear AC Vents and glovebox cooling.
The new vehicle will be offered with four monotone colour options: Thunder blue (new), Fiery red, Titan grey and Polar white, and 2 Dual Tone colour options -Thunder blue with Phantom black roof and Fiery red with Phantom black roof.
