The Korean carmaker, KIA India, announced that it plans to bring in its global EV product, the EV6, as a CBU in limited quantities, with bookings starting from May 26, 2022.

Built on the E-GMP platform, the car gets two battery options, including 58kWh and 77.4kWh for the global market.

The claimed range for the product is 373km with the lower battery capacity and single motor rear-wheel-drive setup, while the larger battery with a single motor claims a range of up to 500km.

While on the inside, it gets a dual-screen layout, including one for the digital dials and one for the infotainment system. Further, it offers connected car tech, a new two-spoke steering, an augmented reality head-up display, and a number of ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) safety features.
