Kia Models Emerge As Leaders In Low Maintenance Costs mobility outlook

In a revelation by Frost & Sullivan analysis, the Kia Seltos, Sonet, and Carens have been identified as the top contenders in their respective segments for the lowest maintenance costs. The analysis highlights the Kia Carens as a standout in the family mover segment, offering the lowest maintenance costs for both its petrol and diesel variants, by 21% and 26% respectively. The Carens Diesel variant, in particular, not only boasts the lowest acquisition cost but also competes closely with the segment's leader in fuel cost efficiency. These attributes position the Carens as a premium family car option with a compelling value proposition.

Similarly, the Kia Seltos has been shown to provide substantial savings in maintenance costs for its petrol variants, being 17% lower than the segment average. The diesel variant of the Seltos also achieves the lowest maintenance costs, aligning it closely with the segment's top performers in terms of overall TCO. This places the Seltos as a highly economical choice in its category, securing it as the second-best for diesel variant TCO and third-best for its petrol variant.

The compact SUV segment sees the Kia Sonet leading with the lowest maintenance costs, 16% and 14% lower than the segment average for its petrol and diesel variants, respectively. This distinction was first acknowledged in December 2023 and continues to affirm Sonet's position as a cost-effective option within its class.

Hardeep Singh Brar, National Head of Sales & Marketing at Kia India, expressed his enthusiasm over the recognition, stating, 'We are thrilled to be recognised by Frost & Sullivan as the makers of one of the most value-driven mobility solutions for new-age customers. Choosing a Kia isn't just a wise decision for today; it's an investment for the future, given its premium appeal, unmatched maintenance, and residual costs within their segments.'
