The new Sonet comes with a comprehensive line-up of 19 variants, offering a diverse range of choices for consumers.

The New Sonet boasts an impressive set of safety features, including 10 ADAS and 15 Hi-safety features, making it a standout in the compact SUV segment. With 70+ Connected Car features, including innovative functionalities like 'Find My Car with SVM' providing a surround view of the car's vicinity and Hinglish commands for a more comfortable drive, the New Sonet aims to redefine the driving experience.

The 19 available variants are categorised into 3 Petrol and 5 Diesel Manuals, 3 Petrol and 2 Diesel Intelligent Manual Transmissions (iMT), 3 Petrol with 7DCT, and 3 Diesel Automatics. The Diesel 6MT variants range between INR 9.79 to 13.69 Lakh, offering a variety of choices for consumers based on their preferences.

One of the key highlights of the New Sonet is its lowest maintenance cost in the segment, being 16% and 14% lower than the segment average for Petrol and Diesel variants, respectively. This cost-efficient aspect is expected to resonate well with budget-conscious consumers.

The New Sonet introduces Segment-best ADAS Level 1, providing 10 autonomous functions, available in the top-of-the-line variants for both diesel and petrol engines. The inclusion of 6 Airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) as standard features across variants enhances the overall safety proposition.

Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales and Business Strategy Officer, Kia India, expressed Kia's commitment to adding more premium appeal the compact SUV segment. He highlighted the enhanced value-for-money proposition, low maintenance, and top-tier safety features, making the New Sonet a compelling choice for consumers. Sohn mentioned that keeping the price competitive was a conscious decision to make the Sonet more accessible to a wider audience.

The New Sonet incorporates 10 best-in-segment features, such as Dual Screen Connected Panel Design, Rear Door Sunshade Curtain, and All Door Power Window with one-touch Auto up/down with Safety. Additionally, it introduces an uplifted front facade with a new grille and new bumper design, Crown Jewel LED Headlamps, R16 Crystal Cut Alloy Wheels, and Star Map LED Connected Tail Lamps.
