In a significant move towards innovation in the automotive industry, L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS), a leading digital engineering and R&D services company, has announced a strategic partnership with BlackBerry, a leading company in security software and services. The collaboration aims to capitalise on BlackBerry's QNX suite of automotive software solutions to pave the way for the development of cutting-edge Software Defined Vehicles (SDVs) for global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

Integrating BlackBerry Technologies

The partnership involves LTTS integrating advanced BlackBerry technologies into its service offerings, including the QNX Neutrino OS, QNX OS for Safety, QNX Hypervisor, BlackBerry IVY vehicle data platform, and QNX acoustics middleware. These technologies will be instrumental in expediting product time-to-market while ensuring the delivery of safe and secure mission-critical solutions.

Accelerating Time-to-Market

LTTS, with its profound engineering domain and software expertise in SDVs, has a history of enabling OEMs to construct innovative next-generation vehicles with a focus on safety and security. Key Deployment Areas

LTTS plans to deploy BlackBerry's industry-leading solutions in constructing next-generation SDV platforms on High Performance Compute (HPC) and domain controllers with intricate software architectures. The middleware employed will substantially reduce time-to-market for end-customers. As part of the partnership, LTTS and BlackBerry will jointly conduct training sessions for engineers on the QNX OS and QNX Hypervisor platforms.
