Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Introduces Metal Bodied Treo Plus mobility outlook

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) has launched the new metal-bodied variant of its popular Treo Plus e-auto, priced at INR 3.58 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Treo Plus variant, with its robust metal body, is designed to offer enhanced durability and reliability, addressing the evolving needs of the Indian market. This strategic move is in response to customer feedback, underscoring MLMML's commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle (EV) landscape.

Since its debut in 2018, the Treo series has established itself as a frontrunner in the Indian EV market, with over 50,000 units sold, commanding an approximate 52% market share in the L5M EV category. The Treo autos have collectively covered over 1.10 billion kilometres, saving around 18,500 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions, illustrating MLMML's significant contribution to India's sustainability goals and providing micro-entrepreneurial opportunities for individuals.

The Treo Plus boasts impressive specifications, including a 10.24 kWh battery, 8 kW power, 42 Nm torque, and a remarkable driving range of over 150 km on a single charge. With features like Hill Hold Assist and a vast service network across India, MLMML ensures a seamless and enjoyable driving experience, complemented by robust after-sales support.

Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of MLMML, emphasised the company's dedication to listening to customers and enhancing their entrepreneurial journey, stating, 'The introduction of the metal-bodied Treo is a testament to our commitment to delivering products that not only meet but exceed customer expectations in terms of reliability and total cost of ownership (TCO).'

Further illustrating its commitment to customer well-being, MLMML's UDAY program offers INR 10 Lakh accident insurance cover for the first year to drivers purchasing the new Treo variant. This initiative highlights Mahindra's focus on the safety and prosperity of its customers.
