MG Motor India has introduced the Advanced Blackstorm edition of the MG Gloster SUV in an exclusive black hue at an ex-showroom (Delhi) price of INR 40,29,800. The Gloster was launched as India’s first autonomous Level 1 premium SUV, and comes with 30 intuitively designed safety features, the company stated in a release.
The Gloster SUV is built on the next-generation ‘On Demand’ or ‘Real Time Intelligent’ 4-wheel drivetrain equipped with a BorgWarner transfer case, a state-of-the-art electronic shift-on-the-fly technology.
Available in 2WD and 4WD, the off-roader will be offering seating options for six or seven passengers. It is powered by a 2-litre diesel engine that delivers 158.5 kW of power.

On offer with the car are roof rails, smoked black tail light, window surround, fender, and fog garnish. Inside, the SUV’s black-themed interior is complemented by red accents on the steering wheel, headlamps, calipers, and front and rear bumper. Even the dark-themed leatherette seat upholstery gets red stitches.
In addition, there is dual panoramic electric sunroof, 12-way power-adjustable driver seat, driver seat massage, and ventilation features. The SUV also boasts of an all-terrain system with seven modes – Snow, Mud, Sand, Eco, Sport, Normal and Rock.
