Montra Electric took a significant stride towards promoting sustainable mobility with the launch of an Electric Vehicle Awareness and Benefits Program in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. The initiative aims to educate residents on the environmental impact of noise and air pollution while highlighting the positive benefits of embracing electric vehicles (EVs).
As part of this program, Montra Electric unveiled the much-anticipated Montra Electric Super Auto in Tirunelveli, showcasing a commitment to state-of-the-art features and sustainability. This marks a substantial move towards advancing eco-friendly transportation solutions. To underscore its dedication, Montra Electric handed over the Super Auto to 10 customers, reinforcing its commitment to cutting-edge and environmentally conscious mobility options. The vehicles were presented to the customers by Hon’ble Tirunelveli City Police Commissioner Dr Pa Moorthy IPS.

He stated, 'Their initiative to introduce electric vehicles, especially the Super Auto, aligns with our collective responsibility to combat air pollution and build a greener future for Tirunelveli.'
Piyush Pandey, Head Marketing & Exports, Montra Electric, expressed excitement about handing over the Super Auto to customers, emphasising its innovative features and the potential for fuel and maintenance savings. He highlighted Montra Electric's commitment to producing vehicles that contribute to environmental protection.
N Senthil Kumar, Managing Director, RR Greenline Motors, Dealer Partner Montra Electric Tirunelveli, highlighted the financial benefits for auto drivers, stating that electric autos help them save Rs 300-400 per day on fuel bills.
The Montra Electric Super Auto boasts a 10KW Lithium-Ion Battery, providing a certified range of 203 km by ARAI, and an on-range of 155 +/- 5 km for a full charge. The vehicle comes with a 3-year/1 lac km warranty, with an option to extend it further.
Following the program and vehicle delivery, Montra Electric organised Experience and Test Drive sessions tailored for auto drivers. Over 100 auto drivers participated, furthering the adoption of electric vehicles in the region.
Montra Electric's EV Awareness Program and the launch of the Super Auto in Tirunelveli signify crucial steps towards a cleaner, greener future, promoting sustainable transportation practices, and addressing the urgent issue of air pollution. The Super Auto will be available across multiple touch-points in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana, marking a significant move by TI Clean Mobility, a subsidiary of Tube Investments of India, a Murugappa Group Company, to transform last-mile transportation.
