PMI will operate and manage these buses with tech-enabled electric bus depots. These e-bus depots will also help with regular maintenance of buses to ensure zero downtime.

PMI Electro Mobility has started delivering electric buses in Goa, with the delivery of 20 e-buses to Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTCL), the state transport undertaking of Goa.

This is part of a larger order to provide 48 electric buses to KTCL before July 2023. Goa is the 26th city in the country, where PMI has its e-buses operational. The first lot was flagged-off by Dr Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister, Goa.

Satish Jain, Chairman, PMI Electro Mobility said the PMI electric buses will contribute towards making Goa’s public transport system cleaner and help facilitate the switch to green mobility, which is one of the priorities for the government in Goa.

“Our electric buses will help the state avoid more than 13,000 tons of CO2 emissions over 10 years in its journey towards clean mobility, “Jain said. PMI will operate and manage these buses with tech-enabled electric bus depots. These e-bus depots will also help with the regular maintenance of buses to ensure zero downtime.
