The pan-India launch introduces an initial fleet of one lakh Rapido Cabs. The move aligns with Rapido's mission to become the go-to platform for diverse commuting needs, combining affordability for customers with empowering solutions for drivers.

A press release from Rapido stated that the zero-commission model helps eliminate commission-sharing challenges with aggregators, allowing drivers to receive direct payments from customers without interference from Rapido.

While drivers pay a nominal subscription fee, the approach ensures they maximize their earning potential. Passengers, in turn, benefit from competitive fares as the SaaS-based platform consolidates various commuting solutions into a single, user-friendly app.

Pavan Guntupalli, co-founder, Rapido, said, 'Rapido Cabs pan India is introduced following the immense success of our bike taxi and auto services. Our innovative SaaS-based platform revolutionizes the conventional commission system for drivers, ensuring they receive the entirety of their service value and making our services exceptionally affordable for all.'
