Rockwell Automation, the global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, concluded the 5th edition of its India Inc On The Move (IIOTM) event in Chennai. The gathering brought together over 1,200 industry leaders, technologists, innovators, and policymakers, fostering discussions on sustainable and smart manufacturing, India's potential in High-Tech manufacturing, circular economy principles, and the pivotal role of automation and digitalisation in enhancing industrial productivity.
S Krishnan, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, emphasised India's commitment to becoming the third-largest economy globally and highlighted the crucial role of the manufacturing sector in achieving this goal. The Government aims to elevate the manufacturing sector's contribution to GDP from 17% to 25%, focusing on quality production, both for domestic and global markets.
Dilip Sawhney, Managing Director, Rockwell Automation India, said, IIOTM served as a platform for industry stakeholders to collaborate and shape the future of technology-enabled manufacturing. Sawhney emphasised the event's role in fostering innovation and industrial progress.
During the event, Rockwell Automation unveiled FactoryTalk, DataMosaix, an innovative industrial data operations product line. This solution, available in standard and enterprise tiers, facilitates the efficient harnessing of industrial data in a scalable manner, aligning with the industry's shift toward smart and sustainable manufacturing.
The event featured keynote presentations, interactive demos, and an expo area showcasing cutting-edge technologies, new products, and engaging interactive demonstrations. Attendees had the opportunity to gain insights from policymakers, industry leaders, and Rockwell Automation's partner ecosystem, contributing to a vibrant and collaborative environment focused on the future of manufacturing.
