Simple Energy has introduced its latest offering, the Simple Dot One, with an enticing starting price of INR 1,39,999 (ex-showroom Bangalore). This marks the second addition to Simple Energy's line-up, following the success of the pioneering Simple One.

The Dot One, positioned as an accessible and economical choice, underscores Simple Energy's commitment to expanding the reach of electric vehicle ownership across a diverse demographic. Pre-bookings for the Dot One will open on 27th January for all customers, with existing customers of Simple One enjoying priority to switch to the Dot One at the special price from 1st January 2024. The pre-booking amount is set at INR 1947 and can be done at the company’s website.

A Made-In-India product, the Dot One, a sub-variant derived from the Simple One platform, offers versatility and affordability to buyers seeking entry into sustainable electric mobility.

Available in four vibrant colours—Namma Red, Brazen Black, Grace White, and Azure Blue—the Dot One features specially designed tyres aimed at maximising on-road range. It stands out as the fastest electric two-wheeler in its category, accelerating from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.77 seconds, setting new benchmarks for performance.

The Dot One is equipped with a 3.7 kWh battery capacity and an 8.5 kW electric motor, delivering a peak torque output of 72 Nm. Safety features include CBS (Combined Braking System) and efficient disc brakes. Noteworthy features include a spacious 35-liter under-seat storage, a user-friendly touchscreen instrument cluster, and seamless app connectivity for an enhanced riding experience.

Deliveries of the Dot One will commence in Bangalore initially, followed by a phased rollout to other cities. The introductory offering also includes LightX and BrazenX colour options, responding to the demand for variety and customisation.
