Leading helmet manufacturer, Steelbird Hi-Tech India, on Wednesday launched the BIS (IS 4151:2015) certified SA-2 (2-in-1) helmet.
Priced at INR 4,499, the helmet is available in three sizes: Medium-580mm, Large-600mm, and XL-620mm.
A press release from the company said that the polycarbonate visor has been treated with anti-scratch and anti-fog materials to prevent fog from accumulating on the visor, especially during the winter.
The headgear also includes a detachable interior that can be changed depending on the season. It comes with a winter padding liner and a detachable waterproof neck pad with a zip to help block the air during the winter. These linings and the cheek pad can be removed and washed for summer use.
Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director, Steelbird Hi-Tech India, said, “We have made this helmet keeping the harsh winters in mind while riding. SA 2 (2-in-1) helmet is not only meant for the safety of the rider but also for their comfortable ride.” Its features properly take care of the personal hygiene and keep the rider warm without compromising the fashion elements of the helmet, he added.
