European automaker Stellantis has elevated Saurabh Vatsa as Citroen Brand Head in India, two people aware of the matter informed Mobility Outlook. Vatsa was earlier working as Senior Director - Marketing Operations and Corporate Communication in India. 

He joined Citroen in January 2018 when the company was establishing its operations in India. Vatsa has been instrumental in launching Citroen C5 Aircross in India and developing key go to market strategies. 

Before joining Citroen, Vatsa has worked with companies like General Motors and Daewoo. He has worked with General Motors for over 15 years in India and Korea.

 At General Motors, he was responsible for marketing, product planning and media buying. 

One of the sources on the condition of anonymity also informed that Joel Verany, Vice President, Sales & Network, Citroen India, will likely become Head Brand Synergy of Stellantis where he will develop strategies synergies of Jeep and Citroen brand of Stellantis operating in India. 

Verany is currently responsible for network development building, distribution strategy, dealership standards and brand standardisation.

Citroen currently has 11 showrooms named ‘La Maison’ across 14 cities.  The company has sold 270 units ever since its launch on April 7, 2021.
