Kandi will succeed Ravindra Kumar G P, who served as the CHRO of Tata Motors since 2018, and transitioning to a new responsibility within the Tata Group.

Tata Motors has officially named Sitaram Kandi as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective from April 1, 2024. Kandi, who currently oversees Human Resources for Tata Motors’ Passenger Vehicle and Electric Vehicle businesses, as well as leads Employee Relations and Skill Building, will also become a part of the Tata Motors Executive Committee.

With a robust career spanning three decades, he brings a wealth of experience to his new role. A graduate of the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, he has held key HR positions in esteemed global companies such as Bosch, Monsanto, and General Electric, both in India and abroad, before joining Tata Motors in 2019.
