Tata Motors Launches Tigor EV In Nepal

The EV produces a peak power output of 55kW and a peak torque of 170 Nm and is powered by a 26-kWh liquid-cooled IP67 rated battery pack giving it an ARAI-certified range of 306 km.

Tata Motors, in partnership with Sipradi Trading, on Thursday announced the launch of the Tigor EV in Nepal at NPR 30 lakh, ex-showroom for the XE trim level. 

The XM and the XZ+ trim levels are priced at NPR 31.5 lakh and NPR 33 lakh, respectively.

The EV produces a peak power output of 55kW and a peak torque of 170 Nm and is powered by a 26-kWh liquid-cooled IP67 rated battery pack giving it an ARAI-certified range of 306 km. Furthermore, the battery pack casing complies with AIS - 048 standards for nail penetration at the cell level.

The car is compatible with a globally acceptable CCS2 charging protocol and can be fast-charged and slow-charged from any 15 A plug point.

Rajan Babu Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer, Sipradi Trading, said, the Tigor EV is uniquely suited to address the aspirations of Nepalese customers while also promoting hassle-free EV adoption.
