Tata Motors has commenced the bookings for the Altroz iCNG for INR 21,000, with planned deliveries commencing in May 2023.
Showcased at the Auto Expo 2023, the Altoz iCNG comes with twin-cylinder CNG technology with a total water capacity of 60 litres placed below the luggage area, aimed at bringing practical, usable boot space to CNG owners.
The hatchback comes with Single Advanced ECU and Direct start in CNG mode. Besides, it gets thermal incident protection, a gas leak detection feature and a micro switch to ensure the car is switched off when refuelling.
A press release from Tata Motors noted that Altroz iCNG will be available in four variants - XE, XM+, XZ and XZ+ and in four colour options- Opera Blue, Downtown Red, Arcade Grey and Avenue White. In addition, the car will also boast of features like leatherette seats, iRA-connected car technology, cruise control, and automatic headlamps, amongst others.
The vehicle maker started its CNG product journey with the Tiago and the Tigor iCNG, launched in January last year.
