The growth trend for TKM remains upward, with cumulative sales for the Calendar Year (CY) 2023 reaching 2,10,497 units, reflecting a remarkable 40% increase compared to the same period in 2022, where sales stood at 1,49,995 units.

Atul Sood, Vice President of Sales and Strategic Marketing at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said that a strong festive season with healthy bookings has had the positive response to the entire product range, including popular models like the Hilux, Innova Hycross, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and the New Innova Crysta.

The Fortuner and Legender continued their strong presence in the segment, and other models like Vellfire, Rumion, Camry Hybrid, and Glanza contributed positively to booking numbers, he added.

November also marked 25 years of TKM’s India journey, with Sood expressing gratitude to over 2.3 million Toyota owners in India. He emphasised that the trust and confidence of customers not only generate an overwhelming response for the product portfolio but also inspire TKM to undertake more customer-centric initiatives.

In a corporate milestone coinciding with the 25th anniversary, TKM signed an MOU with the government of Karnataka for the next round of investments of around INR 3,300 crore. This involves setting up a new plant, contributing to local manufacturing, and ushering in new technologies to create 'mobility for all.'
