Toyota Kirloskar Motor Reports Growth: Sells 21,879 Units in October 2023

From January to October 2023, the company sold 1,92,661 units, surpassing the 1,38,190 units sold during the same period in the previous year, marking a substantial 40% increase in 2023.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has continued its growth trajectory in October 2023, with sales figures totaling 21,879 units, representing a YoY growth of 66%. This surge in sales can be attributed to both the domestic market, with 20,542 units sold, and exports, accounting for 1,337 units. In comparison, during October 2022, the company had sold 13,143 units.

From January to October 2023, the company sold 1,92,661 units, surpassing the 1,38,190 units sold during the same period in the previous year, marking a substantial 40% increase in 2023. Similarly, in the first seven months of the fiscal year 2023, TKM achieved sales of 1,45,818 units compared to 1,04,986 units in FY'22, reflecting a 39% growth in 2023.

This growth has been facilitated by the expanded production capacity achieved through three-shift operations, enabling TKM to meet the rising market demand.

Mr. Atul Sood, Vice President of Sales and Strategic Marketing at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, stated that sustained growth is observed across all segments where Toyota is present, leading to consistent results and strong booking trends.

This year marks TKM's 25th anniversary in India, and the company remains focused on enhancing customer convenience, distribution, and accessibility as part of its customer-centric approach.
