Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the Rumion multipurpose veihcle starting at INR 10.29 lakh, ex-showroom, for the base S MT petrol variant. Deliveries will begin from September 8.
The Rumion is powered by the K series 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission with neo drive (ISG) technology and E-CNG technology. The company claims a fuel efficiency of 20.51 kmpl in the petrol variants and 26.11 kmpg in the CNG option.
The Rumion gets a 17.78 cm smartplay cast touchscreen audio with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The infotainment system includes Bluetooth connectivity, steering-mounted audio and calling controls.
The vehicle also gets Toyota i-Connect,with remote functions for climate, lock/unlock, hazard lights, headlights etc. It is compatible with smartwatches and Hey Siri voice assistant. The Toyota i-Connect also provides safety and security features like auto collision notification, tow alert, find my car, valet profile, vehicle health and malfunction indicator monitoring.
The Rumion gets dual front and front-seat side airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, engine immobiliser, ESP, hill hold assist, and ISO fix child seat anchorages. Addtionally, there are front seatbelts with pre-tensioners and force limiters, a seatbelt reminder and a high-speed alert system.
