To boost the festive season sales, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) on Thursday launched the 4X4 Legender model priced at INR 42.33 lakh. The company has also announced the bookings for the SUV. Accordingly, customers can book either via the official website or through the company's dealership. The SUV comes with a 2.8 L diesel engine with a power output of 240 PS and 500 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Apart from this, it also includes high-end features such as a Kick Sensor for the Power Back Door and a Wireless Smartphone Charger. The SUV’s interior features a Dual Tone (Black + Maroon) theme with contrast stitching for steering wheel and console box, interior ambient illumination (I/P, front door trim, front foot-well areas) and rear USB ports. V Wiseline Sigamani, Associate General Manager(AGM), Sales and Strategic Marketing, TKM, said the new Legender 4X4 AT variant is another initiative as many customers expressed a desire for a 4X4 variant for even more enhanced performance. The company claims to have sold around 2,700 units of the Legender across the country over ten months. The SUV was launched in the 4x2 form on January 6, 2021, alongside the facelifted Fortuner.
