Valvoline has announced its plans to launch EV fluids in India.

Globally, the company offers EV fluids for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) and Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs), along with Autonomous Vehicles and electric fleets.

A press release from the company noted that Valvoline scientists have partnered worldwide with technology leaders, OEMs, researchers and industry groups to develop suitable EV fluids and solutions.

In India, the EV sector is revving for growth as the Government is committed to promoting the adoption of EVs and set a target of having 30% of all cars on the road being EVs by 2030.

Sandeep Kalia, MD, and CEO, Valvoline India, said, “The industry will see robust demand for EVs in the coming years, and we are prioritising how to best meet every vehicle owner’s need.”
