Hyundai Launches Updated Aura At INR 6.30 Lakh

As a part of the update, the front fascia of the compact sedan sees a new design with new front L-shaped LED DRLs, while the vehicle's side and rear remain identical to the pre-facelift model.

Hyundai Motor India on Monday launched the refreshed Aura starting at INR 629,600, ex-showroom, India, for the base E petrol trim. 

As a part of the update, the front fascia of the compact sedan sees a new design with front L-shaped LED DRLs while the side and the rear of the vehicle remain identical to the earlier model.

The vehicle's powertrain remains unchanged, with a 1.2-litre engine mated to a 5-speed manual or an AMT churning out 83hp and 113.8Nm. With the factory-fitted CNG kit, the engine puts out 69hp of power and 95.2Nm of torque.

On the features front, the Aura now comes with 3.5-inch instrument cluster with a multi-information display, footwell lighting, fast type-C USB charger, automatic headlamps, wireless phone charger, 8-inch touchscreen display audio with smartphone connectivity, voice recognition, Bluetooth connectivity, steering wheel mounted controls and smart key with push button start/stop.

On the safety side, it gets front and side airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Brake System), EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), immobiliser, seatbelt reminder, seat belt pre-tensioners, parking assist (Reverse Parking Sensor), ESS (Emergency Stop Signal) and cruise control.

Available in six monotone colour options, polar white, titan grey, typhoon silver, starry night, teal blue and fiery red, the sedan comes with three years or a one-lakh kilometre warranty, which can be extended up to seven years.
