Volkswagen India has announced MY23 updates to its India 2.0 project vehicles, the Taigun and Virtus.
With the new update, the Taigun gets auto headlights and auto coming or leaving home lights in the 1.0L Dynamic line and GT line models. Meanwhile, the Virtus gets rear fog lamps across all its variants.
In addition, all MY23 variants of the vehicles are RDE and E20 norms-compliant. According to these developments and rising input costs, the brand also announced a price hike of up to 2% across its product portfolio effective 1 April 2023.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said, “Product development is a continuous process at Volkswagen and we strongly believe the additional and new feature offerings across the Taigun and Virtus variants will increase their accessibility as well as value proposition for our customers.”
