The annual continuation of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo is expected to significantly contribute to the growth and development of the mobility ecosystem in India

In a historic announcement on the concluding day of the first edition of Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal, revealed that the event would now become an annual affair. The three-day inaugural expo, held from 1st to 3rd February, saw a record-breaking turnout of around 800 exhibitors and 150,000 registered visitors, solidifying its status as a critical platform for the mobility sector.

Goyal praised the achievements of this year's expo, citing its massive scale and impact on the mobility sector. Expressing his optimism for the future, he stated, 'Every year, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo is going to be an institution of ideas and innovations that would further help demonstrate India's growth story to the people of our nation.'

The expo, guided by the visionary 7C's framework, emerged as a pioneering platform showcasing the latest innovations and fostering collaborations among industry leaders, policymakers, innovators, and stakeholders. The event featured a diverse range of electric, hybrid, CNG, and biofuel-powered vehicles, highlighting the Indian automotive industry's commitment to innovation and progressive growth.

More than just a platform for vehicle showcases, the event saw active participation from over 600 auto component manufacturers from across 13+ global markets. The presence of dedicated country pavilions and broad international participation from countries like Japan, Germany, Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand underscored the global resonance of the expo.

The integration of ACMA's flagship aftermarket expo, the ACMA Automechanika New Delhi, further enriched the event, emphasising its inclusive approach towards the entire automotive ecosystem. Leading industry bodies such as SIAM, ACMA, IESA, ATMA, NASSCOM, ISA, ICEMA, MRAI, ITPO, Invest India, IBEF, and CII participated, adding depth and credibility to the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 as a global convergence point for excellence in mobility.

The Minister highlighted the expo's role in facilitating business interactions, promoting technological advancements, and fostering collaborations, stating that 'the expo has emerged as a key catalyst for driving innovation, showcasing the latest technologies, and shaping the future of mobility.'

The annual continuation of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo is expected to significantly contribute to the growth and development of the mobility ecosystem in India, providing a dynamic platform for industry stakeholders, policymakers, innovators, and enthusiasts to converge, exchange ideas, and drive the evolution of mobility solutions.
